Moving Truck was an experimental dance delivery performance designed for live presentation, at a safe distance, on people's front lawns. It offered the Omaha community an opportunity to encounter art, serendipity, and real life human interaction. Moving Truck celebrated unmediated, non-virtual, non-simulated experiences. 

 

Three dancers arrive in one vehicle and park in the street or driveway in front of a house or apartment complex. The movement score responds to the topography of the landscape and outdoor features like fences, walkways, and lampposts. Local musician Dereck Higgins composed an original sound score which plays from a portable speaker. 20-25 minutes.
